In the Jeremy Rutherford chat today at stltoday.com, JR thinks the two most likely trade candidates are either Jackman or Salvador. He thinks this because they are UFAs not in spite of it. He also thinks that Matt Walker will be cut shortly because of the return of David Backes off of the IR.
If true, I don't think the Blues will get much of anything in return for Salvador and just a fringe prospect for Jackman. I also am a fan of Matt Walker's play this year (when he has gotten a chance) and am not a fan of Backes. Seriously, what do people expect him to be? I have seen nothing from him that would indicate that he has a high ceiling.
