Rucinsky on IR? I did not hear anything about that until you posted it. He seemed to play decent the other night. He scored a goal. I suppose it is good news actually because it will open up more places for the young players.
You are tough on Backes. I have been withholding judgement on him. I think power forwards usually take a bit longer to develop than finesse forwards because they have to put the muscle on and that takes time.
I'll put up something about the Backes/Tkachuk comparisons later.
Btw, the Blues have the 4th best winning percentage in the NHL.
